چکیده
Wearable biopotential sensing devices are essential to long-term and real-time monitoring of human health. Non-contact, capacitive electrodes prevent potential skin irritations, thus beneficial for monitoring. Existing either connected a separate control circuit via external wires or have limited capacitances, which leads low signal qualities. This study demonstrates stretchable device with integrated electronics, enhanced The the electronics fabricated on common fabric substrate breathability strain-limiting protection. based an island-bridge design stretchability as high ? 100%, area ratio 80%. By using dielectric calcium copper titanate (CCTO) composite adhesive layer, electrode capacitance can be increased, yielding signal-to-noise (SNR) in acquired biopotentials. offers convenient comfortable approach non-contact signals.

Enhanced Forward Scattering of Ellipsoidal Dielectric Nanoparticles
Dielectric nanoparticles can demonstrate a strong forward scattering at visible and near-infrared wavelengths due to the interaction of optically induced electric and magnetic dipolar resonances. For a spherical nanoparticle, the first Kerker's condition within dipole approximation can be realized, where backward scattering can reach zero. However, for this type of dielectric sphere, maximum fo...

This white paper discusses methods and findings from one of Novetta’s many approaches to vulnerability assessment: the fabrication of non-gelatinous artifacts for capacitive fingerprint sensors. We present methods of evaluating artifact performance relative to that of live presentations and gummy fingerprint artifacts. Two sets of artifacts are comprised of latex face paint or acrylic fabric pa...
متن کاملFully-Differential Capacitive Sensors
Although sensors used in the majority of high-performance seismometers are capacitive, the performance of present commercial instruments is less than what it could be--due to the choice of less-than-optimal electrode configurations. The detector in commercial instruments has only one-half the symmetry of the patented symmetric differential capacitive (SDC) transducer, also known as 'fully diffe...
متن کاملCapacitive Touch Sensors
Today, capacitive touch sensors are widely used in consumer products like MP3 players, mobile phones and other portable devices. More and more the technology is utilized in further application fields such as household appliances as well as automotive and industrial applications. There are several reasons for this development.
